A poem:
Looking into your eyes
I find it hard to look into your eyes
More facile to look down at the tiles
Count the patterned plates in my head
Blatant to see that even an estimate
Is hard to conclude
Nevertheless, I am still subjected to your face
To the undeserved smile that is bright as day
I have to forfeit my smile, unwillingly
But still have to spit out my truths and veracity
Which break my hard heart
I hope you can forgive me with your eyes
And then maybe I can look up again, at the skies.
Then again, at your face, with the same smile
And then I can greet you with the long while
Hug that is timeless
